We would like to thank each and every person who has donated school materials and funds over the last few months to those affected by the flooding in Valencia almost six months ago.

The primary school which the parents’ association INTERAMPA suggested the materials are donated to is called CEIP L´HORTA which is situated in PAIPORTA – one of the worst affected areas. This school was so severely damaged that it is currently being rebuilt. The pupils are split up between three schools in the meantime. Their principle, Mr Vicente Giménez Bastidas, is now based at CEIP ALMUDENA MUÑOZ in Valencia city which is where the materials were delivered to and where it will be stored until they move back to PAIPORTA.

The principle says the children adapted to their situation very quickly, but of course everybody is wishing to return to normality as soon as possible. Your donations have made their situation so much better.
