Application Form for Works / Building Works / Aesthetic Modifications
Here are the steps which you should follow when carrying out ANY type of work on your property (excluding interior works, painting, repairs and other maintenance works):
- Hand in the application form (below) together with a copy of the licence/application for the licence and proof of payment of the deposit to Werner (Community Support). If no licence is needed, it should be indicated so on the application form.
- Pay a deposit of €300 (minor works) or €1000 (major works). Examples of minor works: installation of artificial grass, fences, glazing of terraces, sheds, barbecues, tiling, etc. Examples of major works: pools, dwelling extensions and ANY other work which entails digging up the garden.
- Once the above two points have been adhered to, the gardening supervisor carries out a pre-works inspection.
- Once Werner is notified that the works have been completed, the gardening supervisor carries out another inspection. If no anomalies are found, Werner notifies Mare Nostrum’s financial department to return your deposit. If any anomalies are found, i.e. irrigation leaks, damaged grass/hedges, etc., you are informed and given 15 days to have the “repairs” carried out. If after 15 days the problems have not been solved, the Community carries out the repairs and the difference is returned to you.
