SCOOTERS IN SPAIN AND AT THE RESORT

We have been informed by our security provider, Vigilant, that a Municipal Ordinance has been passed in Torre Pacheco, however, this has to be completed in various aspects with state regulations which are currently still under development. The detailed articles can be found in the link below, please familiarize yourself, your family and friends with the new laws and legal requirements.  Before this becomes law we would like to remind all scooter riders in our complex of the following:

TIPS AND REMINDERS

-Make sure your Scooter is equipped with a warning buzzer or similar audible warning device. 
-Always wear a helmet (Not yet the law, but likely to be in the near future).
-Make sure you know and obey traffic regulations.
-Do not ride on sidewalks or pedestrian areas.
-Respect pedestrians, remember that they have the right of way.
-Get off your scooter at crosswalks.
-Watch your speed.   Stay safe and enjoy the summer.
